It takes a special coach to take on a client who failed out of physical therapy. A client in a walker, unable to walk a block or handle fork and knife.

But Nat is confident in what he does, because he knows what he is doing. After my physical therapist suggested to him that I wouldn’t walk more than short periods for the rest of my life, Nat made a plan for me which made that prediction completely wrong.

Nat was my introduction to the world of understanding expected joint function vs. demonstrable joint function, and Functional Anatomy Systems - the organization that does this particular training.

When some part of your body is not working as intended, its pretty likely it won’t feel very good. Often, that area just needs more active control to operate like it should, not just be stronger.

After my assessment, a specific plan of attack was designed to specifically restore expected joint articulation in those places it was most deficient. A first I definitely had my doubts, but this type of exacting approach started to pay off within a few months - and my progress has continued since that day.

If you’re looking to advance your mobility, I highly recommend connecting with Coach Nat & Coach RT3 or signing up for one of their programs at TheUpgradeGuys website.
